Judith has 25 years experience, mainly as a sound assistant in television,and worked on a wide variety of shows and OB's from LE to sport and factual.She's trained on Fisher Booms,and fish pole operation, and worked with quite a few bands in recent years.

Since leaving the BBC I've worked mainly as an Operator in studios, on OB's and on a few dramas/soaps. Duties included fisher boom & fish pole operation, PA & radio mic rigs, rigging of commentary, pitch side & studio positions on sporting events, mic'ing up all sorts of bands & helping rig monitors & FOH. I've also done some PSC & mixed on a few shows such as Sky News & The Big Breakfast. These also incorporated comm's/tape n' grams. I have also supervised & helped run a small department.
Other shows I've worked on have been pop concerts,TV awards ceremony and rock/pop festivals (see credit list above).

My work on Top Of The Pops involved doing the stage & monitor rigs for the artists and helping with IEM's, supervising their sound checks,as well as running the studio floor. I became well acquainted with artists such as U2,REM,Maroon 5,Sterophonics,Robbie Williams,GreenDay,Coldplay,Snow Patrol,Eminem,50 Cent,Kanye West,Stevie Wonder,Franz Ferdinand,The Killers,Kylie Minogue,Britney Spears,Muse,Destiny's Child,Victoria Beckham,Kings of Leon,Will Young,George Michael, Michael McDonald, Meat Loaf,Foo Fighters and have got to know their crews, sound guys and management along the way, learning their set ups, technical preferences/ requirements, quirks and temperaments.
